A Wax model for Aishwarya Rai

A wax model of the gorges bollywood face Aishwarya Rai, will open to public view at Madame Tussauds wax museum in Time Square here on Aug 15. The Day when India is going to celebrates his 60th year of independence.

Rosemary Preta, director of marketing of the museum told 'This ceremony will feature after a 15 minute of performance by Bollywood dance Group'

Aishwarya Rai's model will be placed in the Opening Night Party section of the museum.

This wax model is borrowed by the museum has borrowed for six weeks from the parent Madame Tussauds in London. The model is based on the life-like sari-cald as featured in Rai's first international film, 'Bride and Prejudice', directed by London-based Gurinder Chadha.

We have only few Bollywood personalities are here at Madame Tussauds in London. Name of these famous celebrities are Rai's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, both from Bollywood, and Tamil superstar Rajnikanth. Other Indian attractions at the museum are Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.

Now Rai is the first and has beaten them all by becoming the first Indian to feature at the New York museum.
